Services
I am a licensed Psychologist. I recently served for five years as the Director of Counseling at Gwinnett Place. I have a general practice working with adults and adolescents. Having worked in the Atlanta area since 1984, my special interests and expertise include:
- Individual psychotherapy or counseling, with issues ranging from personal growth to mental illness.
- Group therapy. Have taught and published on this topic. Executive Board member of the Atlanta Group Psychotherapy Society.
- Psychological assessment (testing). Personality, intellectual and psychoeducational. Member of the Society for Personality Assessment.
- Mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder)
- Spiritual life/Christian soul care/Biblical counseling (for those who desire such a focus). Have also taught, published, and supervised in this area. Member of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies (CAPS), for which I served as Southeast Director.
- Teaching and supervision. Adjunct faculty of the Psychological Studies Institute.

I was born and raised in the Midwest, with my adult years in New England and the South. My wife and I have three children, spanning, college, high school and middle school. I enjoy family life, sports, reading, writing and the world of ideas, especially as they relate to matters of the heart and spirit.
