Linda K. Merrion, M. S., L.P.C., L.M.F.T.

As the founder and owner of Family Counseling Associates, Linda Merrion is a licensed professional counselor and a licensed marriage and family therapist.

She holds a degree in Community Services with an emphasis in Family and Child Science from Michigan State University. She also has a graduate degree in Community Counseling from Georgia State University.  In addition her education is enriched by a diploma in Christian Ministry from International School of Theology, as well as a diploma in Christian Counseling from the Psychological Studies Institute.  Because of her passion for marital therapy she completed a two year post-graduate internship in Marriage and Family Therapy with an A.A.M.F.T. approved supervisor.

 The areas of focus in her practice include affair recovery, sexual abuse recovery, and grief and loss resolution.  Linda Merrion is also a licensed provider for the Highlands Program, a career development and testing service.  Customized ability testing and individual coaching help her clients develop a vision for their lives and their careers.
