ANOREXIA NERVOSA
/BULIMIA NERVOSA
- Deliberate self-starvation with weight loss
- Preoccupation with food
- Intense, persistent fear of gaining weight Binge eating, usually in secret
- Refusal to eat, except tiny portions Vomiting after bingeing
- Continuous dieting Abuse of laxatives, diuretics, diet pills
- Excessive facial/body hair because of
inadequate protein in the diet Denial of hunger or drugs to induce vomiting - Compulsive exercise Compulsive exercise
- Abnormal weight loss
or swollen salivary glands

Broken blood vessels
in the eyes.
- Absent or irregular menstruation Hair loss
